My own thoughts are my worst enemy
tl;dr: Heaven is the natural state of our one and undivided mind; hell is my nonacceptance of the truth.
My own thoughts are my worst enemy (in fact, they are my only enemy), but only when I have forgotten, once again, that I can always choose to interpret everything differently.
By changing my mind I change my experience of myself and the world.
There is Someone in me – the enlightened One in all of us – Who knows I am not my thoughts; I am not a person; I am not even a body, and the physical world is only a projection made by the mind and always perceived in the mind. Nothing exists outside the mind.
Heaven is the natural state of our one and undivided mind; hell is my nonacceptance of the truth.
Love is the recognition of our perfect oneness; fear is nothing but lack of love.
Love is all that is real; lack of reality is illusion.
Fear made this illusory world of separation; love had nothing to do with it.
Love sees fear as only a call for love, because fear’s denial is an unconscious recognition of love’s presence.
To see only love’s presence is forgiveness; forgiveness is salvation.
